Christmas computer stress? Is there such a thing?
My wife and I are on our way to the Christmas show in Abbotsford. It is a large show that displays the latest and greatest Christmas gadgets, cool toys, marvelous musings and holiday trinkets. Christmas also happens to be one of the years biggest computer and gadget gift giving times of the year, and we can already see hoards of shoppers scurrying around to get the Macbook that is on sale, or the Iphone your spouse has been drooling about and tuck it away until December 25th.
Thats why Pat and I have decided to become pro-active and blog about some of the newest technology you may be considering placing under the tree. We are not immune to this phenomenon, and have been checking into building a home theater PC ourselves. It’s just theatthe convenience of being able to check your e-mail on a 42 inch plasma TV is almost too overwhelming not to break out the credit card and start putting together a component package. We are going to peruse the internet, find out who’s buying what and then put together some links on our blog so you know where to go if you need assistance on that shiny new toy you have to learn about.
You know what your family members could do? Create a wordpress blog for the family, and build a list of what they want on it so other members of your family can view it, and find out if another member is already thinking of getting it. You can even set up wordpress blog pages that are password protected, so that only your family members can view the list. On the same blog, you can share your favorite recipes, traditions, memories of Christmas past and much, much more. The internet is a global village that can easily be shared with the world, so why not start with your own personal blog? We will add to this post this evening when we get back. We’ll also be taking our handy dandy Vado high def cam to the Christmas show this evening. It’s fantastic, we use it quite a bit. Check out our sample video on Anti Monkey Butt powder, you may consider getting that for someone in your family this season. We did.
