The Broadcast Studio is Finished. It’s about time (see video here)

Well, it’s done. Our new broadcast studio is completely setup, cleaned, teched-out and ready to go. It took wayyyyy too long, and we thought it would be just a simple matter of buying some furniture, connecting up the PC to a couple of microphones, install some lights and viola, you’ve arrived. However, in our case we just needed to add something here, adjust a little bit there, put some new paint on the walls, then there was the floor that needed to be done, well, you get the idea. Anyway, the studio is now ready to accept honorable guests to the podcast show.

I had to promise my wife that in order to have a professional quality show, we needed to have the studio look as professional as possible. Therefore, we are including some pictures of the new wall to wall storage cabinets we picked up at Ikea and the layout of the studio. We will provide more information on our setup for anyone who is interested in putting up a small podcast studio. Feel free to leave comments. Rick and Pat.
