Rick Haaland loves to share. As a matter of fact, he’s pretty well motivated to share almost everything he creates. There’s logic in this kind of attitude. If you are passionate, compassionate and just a little bit ‘off the wall’ you’ll understand why.
All communication between people is established through trust and integrity. When I share all of the material on this site for free, and tell you exactly how I did it, people remember you and your ethics.
Lets talk training and education: I am a computer and electronics technician, and loved working for all of the major high tech companies such as IBM, Toshiba, HP, AST and Lexmark. My specialty was called ‘hardware/breakfix’ and as technicians, we had to continually upgrade our skills to be able to work on the latest creations that the manufacturers put in the field. It was very exciting work, and after five great years of working in the field, I decided to transfer both me and my skills to one the the largest technically based computer call centers in North America.
It was a natural fit, and I now found myself supporting technicians in the field. It wasn’t long before I was asked to be on the training and development department and work with the engineering crew to make sure that our clients received the best service possible. I was in the high tech industry for over ten years, and the thing that impressed me more than anything is the ability to continually share knowledge with people who are interested in what you have to say.
That’s why we need to create the absolute best content through blogging and podcasting. Well, now you know a little bit about me and my intentions, how about you? It would be an honor and privilege to find out about you, what you want to read, video’s you want to watch, interviews you would like to see. In fact, we are inviting you to be on our show as a guest. Ever heard of Skype? The internet gives us access to all sorts of technology that allows us to grow our web site and show all around the world. One of the best parts of having a video blog is sharing. We invite you to come on the show and add to our collective experience. Enjoy our web site, and we would appreciate it if you would leave a comment on our site. Thank you, Rick and Pat.
