Both Rick and Pat have been working with different kinds of technologies for many years. Rick attained a college diploma from technical college, and worked for over 5 years as a hardware break/fix technician for IBM, HP, AST, Lexmark, Toshiba  and Microsoft. He then went to work for one of the largest technically based call centers in North America as a second level technician, and as part of the training and development departments. It was at the call center that Rick created the idea for a support system that could actually help the human operator of technology instead of having stress hamper the enjoyment of learning to deal with this ‘high tech’ world in which we live in.

Pat, Ricks Wife and co-host on the show also graduated from college, specializing in business management and administration. She is what you could call a ‘web support geek’. Pat works with web designers, sets up e-stores, does web maintenance, custom tutorials to help support her clients web presence, and finishes it all off by organizing accounting systems in order for her clients to maintain profit in today’s economy. Pat and Rick know that most people that work with technology must do so because of their jobs. In other words, technology  can affect the users health and well-being, resulting in poor efficiency whether you sit at a cubicle for a large organization, or own a small business and run it from your home.
